The restaurant, with its timber
beams and log fires, once the home of an original 16th century
forge, is renowned for its high standard of cuisine and service.
Whatever
your reasons for visiting us, be it an intimate meal for two, a special
family gathering or a short break away, Philip and Nicky offer you a warm
and professional welcome.

We
have endeavored to create a menu that we hope will give all our guests a
wide range of dishes to enjoy. The
traditional English/French cuisine is all freshly prepared and cooked to
order, using only the finest ingredients, and wherever possible, locally
grown produce.
We
excel in those special family occasions where quality of food and service is
of utmost importance to our guests. For example Silver and Ruby
Wedding Anniversaries, retirement functions, special birthdays and small,
intimate wedding breakfasts. For more details, please contact
