The Olde Forge Hotel and Restaurant (Hailsham), once the home of an old forge, still maintains its original open fires and timber beams.   The hotel, with all its charm and character offers guests a relaxing haven away from the busy stresses of every day life.

Set in the heart of the Wealden countryside near Hailsham, East Sussex, close to many National Trust properties, historic castles and glorious gardens with Beachy Head and The Seven Sisters also in easy reach of the hotel.

However, our customers tell us that  the best reason for coming to visit us here at The Olde Forge is our restaurant.  All our meals are cooked fresh to order using locally sourced supplies wherever possible. 

Whether it is just bed and breakfast for the weekend or treating yourself to our Leisure Break package, you will be sure of welcoming and comfortable stay.

Restaurant menus 

We offer an extensive fixed price A lá Carte menu that is available to hotel residents 7 days a week and non residents on Fridays and Saturdays.  We offer a less extensive dining menu for non residents Sunday - Thursday and reservations are essential.
